Sheet material is often ground in a first processing step in order to adapt the thickness and surface quality to the customer’s requirements. We offer dry and wet grinding with an abrasive belt or a grinding stone, achieving a thickness tolerance of ± 0.01mm. The surface roughness can also be precisely adjusted, with low roughness for a better look and feel or increased roughness for subsequent painting or gluing.
Our machining technicians prepare your order on the appropriate system in our large machine park of 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC machining centers. These include, for example, modern and market-leading 5-axis CNC machining centers such as the DMU 85 monoBlock. The simultaneous operation of all axes opens up unimagined possibilities in the production of 3D surfaces. Optimized processes and minimized set-up costs lead to noticeable cost advantages for our customers. Depending on the material, these are processed wet or dry to achieve an optimal result with minimal costs. We can also machine very large components with dimensions of over 2000 mm and achieve accuracies of up to ± 0.01 mm.
We have numerous CNC lathes in our machine park. Our lathes are characterized by multi-axis machining and large clamping diameters of up to 1200 mm. Multi-axis technology enables us to produce even complex components in a short time and with the highest precision. Automatic tool change and driven tools are standard and ensure the best series quality.
Our center-less cylindrical grinding machines cover a wide range of requirements. For example, we can process grinding diameters from 2 mm up to 300 mm on our machines.
Further, we fit square and round bars up to a length of 2800 mm with a right-hand or left-hand thread.
In addition to sheet material according to the standard dimensions of our presses, we also offer precise cuts according to your specifications. In our sawmill, our panels, pipes and profiles are trimmed or automatically cut to size. Waste is always minimized. In addition to normal sawing, we can also produce complex contours on our water jet cutting machine.
From simple sealing to specialized electrical resins, our experts can support you in refining your components with a coating.
Depending on the requirements, your composite component will be more durable, more wear-resistant or highly resistant to corrosion and chemical stresses.
Our full service allows you to purchase finished components from us instead of individual components. We can pre-assemble individual parts for you and fix them by screwing or gluing. We can serve both small and large series. As experts in specialty chemicals, we always use the most suitable adhesive for the application and material. We use cold- and warm-curing as well as single- and multi-component adhesives. By spatially separating the assembly hall, dust buildup can be minimized, and the quality of the bonding can be maximized.
To make further processing easier for you, we are happy to mark the finished components with type information or similar. In addition to adhesive labels, we can apply your marking directly to the components using thermal transfer printing, engraving or laser marking. We are also happy to stamp your components in accordance with aviation standards with a durable special ink to achieve lasting and gentle marking. This allows a high level of traceability and batch identification.
